Single - Fighting James

In this scene we wanted to make our audience feel rather engaged in our piece and by doing this my character Jeremy starts to beat Ashley's character ('Newbie') and as the violence increases the more that the character feels deathly like and starts to fall to his knees, that's when Jeremy and his gang start to torture this poor man more and more by whipping him. He lays there nearly dead and then they all walk off. Personally i believe that the piece would sound better something more aggressive however the group has decided that it would be better suited if we had music that isn't really relevant to the piece as it makes the audience feel like 'what the hell'...

Intro to divised

At first we all decided that we wanted to have a bit of a thriller and horror but live on stage and have that 'wow factor' which would really engaging for the audience, we thought that if we done this it be rather different as there's not many shows that do this. We had an idea of having a dinner party but it all goes horribly wrong when the host decides to play a game which involves his guests living or dying. We soon realized we were making it to much like a film and didn't want the audience to feel like they've seen it all before so we shortly scrapped it and began to think of our current idea/s.

Our idea that we are working on at the moment is a lot less horror and thriller and heads to more of a futuristic, post apolitical kind of theme, we thought that this would engage to an audience with out really having to attempt to scare them and we can tell multiple stories with in one instead of just having the audience watching a group of actors play a game...
